When it comes to communication, there is more at stake than just the words we use. Other factors, the non-verbal factors, also come into play in guiding the audience towards their own conclusions. In general, three factors are brought into play when we look at communication, the words we use, the tone of voice that is used to convey these words, and the body language of the person speaking. To communicate effectively, we need to be aware of, and incorporate, all of these factors.
